Spin anglers can expect an extremely challenging adventure with Giant Trevally, Dogtooth Tuna and Bohar Snappers. Bring big poppers, stickbaits and strong spinning rods paired with Shimano Stella or Daiwa Saltiga reels from size 10.000 and bigger. In addition to the mentioned species, the rich biodiversity offers an exciting variety with Bluefin Trevally, Grouper, Jobfish, Barracuda, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and Sharks.
If you like light tackle fishing you can enjoy exciting fights with Skipjack Tunas, smaller Trevally and many other species in sizes of about 2 to 5 kilos. Bring a spinning rod with about 100 grams of casting weight and a 5000 spinning reel.
Our photo gallery below shows you which species of fish in which sizes can be caught with spinning gear. Still, neither pictures nor words can tell how fast and strong they are. You will only know it after you have experienced it yourself.
Speed jigging is particularly successful on tuna, snapper and grouper. When we are sailing from one fishing area to the next you can troll for Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish and Marlin. Nocturnal bottom fishing can be a lot of fun with Sharks, Rays, Snappers and a lot of different other fish species.
